1. The zombies in the park are looking for my heart
We are quick to lean on serendipity when it works in our favor. Especially when you find someone whose metronome ticks synchronize perfectly with yours. We attest things in our life [i.e. love] to chance and fate. We give ourselves far less credit than what we really are capable of. Things happen for a reason because you’ve let them. Or, in some cases, didn’t let them.
This “fortunate accident” was brought to you by the makers of the male population and sponsored by an organ called the heart. We hope you have enjoyed tonight’s broadcast featuring the futile attempts at human emotion. Unfortunately, this shitshow has been cancelled until further notice due to schoolgirl incompetencies.
Goodnight and good luck.

  2. Are you good with your hands?

  3. Fate & Shit
By now, humans should be resigned to the fact that nature is a series of mysterious ebbs and flows. Control, it seems, is illusionary. How one reacts to this unpredictability is what sets us apart from each other.
Perhaps what we seek should not be control of our lives.Rather - the acceptance of come what may.

  5. This is the absolute anthem of my love life [or lack thereof].

    Oh yeah, it’s the weekend.
    Drink up, folks!

    Fast Car

Spontaneous late night drives are always the best.

    Don’t you think?

The idyllic nature of it all is so intoxicating. So toxic that you could easily get high .. on life (with the little help of a Miller Hi-Life). You know how it feels like right? Your best friend is driving and then that favorite 90s song comes on. Suddenly all you can do is roll down the windows and belt out the lyrics .. perfectly!  Or you’re at a stop sign and your friend in the back rolls down the window and decides to give them a stoge — just because. The best part of the night is when you pull into that view of the Bay Bridge at night — and all you can think of is “Damn, I’m happy I live here.”

These are the moments worth living for.

So many times I’ve heard the phrase “We’re too old for this.” Ding! Wrong. You just lost the game. We are .. young, my friends. We have only just begun!

Life is short and, like a car, it’s moving .. fast — whether you want it to or not, folks. Many people spend their whole lives stuck in the dreary day-to-day drum of making money and moving up the corporate ladder. They refuse to succumb to the idea that life can also equally be about the smiles, laughs and spending time doing things you love with people you love. Don’t postpone happiness, people. Pursue it.

So instead of being afraid that the car’s gonna crash or how much you paid for it — why not enjoy the ride while it lasts?

Because before you know it — it’ll be gone.

    Fasten your seat belts,
    Mal
